Alone Together

The government has issued a second confinement in Paris. I have been struggling with how I feel about it, as it is very different than the first, but still I find that I am similarly frustrated. Frustrated with little global progress on the pandemic and upset over school going completely online again.

I know that I am lucky to live with my partner during times like these, but still confinement brings feelings of detachment from the outside world. On our walk today along the canal, I couldn't help but look at everyone that passed by and wonder if they too were feeling exhausted by loneliness.
